In troubled times, I look to the light. For the Light shines even in the darkest of days. It is only through the darkness that we can truly see the Light so while troubled times feel dark (and they are) there is hope still shining.
A new dawn, the sunset, the moon rise and the cyclical time line that begets days and nights, seasons and years continues. Like breath, we find ourselves comfortably numb to the magic that is life. We dissolve our tears and disappointments and forget about counting our blessings. Seeing the bigger picture and not concentrating on the trials and tribulations of the human experience.
We chose down into our shells and withdraw. We allow negativity to loop and feel as if there is no place to go. We lose our energetic wisdom and ties to the Light. We lose ourselves in the infinite changing world.
I look to the Light when this happens. Innately as with breathing, I come back to Source as my centeredness increases. I find strength in the Light. My powerful source of union with all that is mine by Divine Right. With the enthusiasm of a child surprised by an overnight snow, I feel the magic of healing releasing me from the tethers of darkness to rise again and shine.
The Light and the Darkness work in tandem to help us. I do not fear the Darkness in the same way as others do. Darkness is the helpful reminder to me that there is Light. Yin and Yang. The duality of life experiences as we human beings walk this path on the earth.
As beacons of the Light, we connect with each other without fear. We bond in our humanity, our frailties and our strengths. Each helping the other on this life journey. For all of our circumstances are similar – each with its own set of characters, situations and pains, but jointly as a growing experience. I can understand your story as you can understand mine when we connect with Light.
We ascend en masse though perhaps each at his/her own speed. A helping hand, a listening ear, a compassionate heart and with wisdom through our own personal experiences we rise together. Lighting the way for the others.
“And when all that was left was ashes,
she would again clothe herself in flame.
Rising from the dust of her past
to rekindle the spark of her future.
She was a Phoenix,
her own salvation; rebirthed, renewed, resurrected.”
— LaRhonda Toreson
Remevolution searches for the spark and ignites the Phoenix within us to soar! Remembering who we are is the key to all of Remevolution. Small insights breathe life into our resurrection. Taking the time to recall and process our past helps us to evolve!
Are you feeling the desire to rekindle your spark? To remember who you are? The Evolution of Remembering Me is here.
You may begin by writing as for me, that is a medium for clarity. Writing helps me in many ways. Perhaps you can take a memory of a good feeling from your younger days, when you were happy, when you felt good about something that happened or something you did. Put it to paper. Write about it as if you are the observer. Then write about it as it is unfolding, from your soul’s perspective. Can you see how that pivotal moment of feel good raises your vibration? It makes you remember who you are?
Now take that moment in time and expand on it. Put it into today. How can we continue that feeling in real time? Even if you can’t find a way to re-invent that memory, you can write about it, imagining the feeling of authenticity in the present moment.
This is a writing that you may share with me or trusted friends. Or you can keep it to yourself in a journal. Who you are never changes. We simply forget at times our divinity. Stressors and life struggles burden our essence. We need to clear the clutter and remember the heart of who we are.
You can do this. You need to do this so that the inner strength we have can expand and connect with one another. There is so much turmoil swirling in the world these days. Igniting the fire within you, the strength and passion which carries us is even more essential.
Let me know how the exercise works for you! I can’t wait to read about it!
Remevolution – The Evolution of Remembering Me
We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think.
When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves. – Buddha
When it comes to Remevolution, the mind is a powerful tool to help you. The Evolution of Remembering Me (and you!) necessitates going deeply into our beliefs, our thoughts and seeing clearly. It helps when we can share our thoughts with others who are able to observe with empathy and even detachment to parse the truth from the story we’ve chosen to weave as our own.
Facts are what center on truth, but they can get muddled by our own views of life. We can make excuses for how or why situations occurred in our lives. We can find that it’s hard to face choices we’ve made so we eschew the facts to fit into what feels comfortable. Therefore we need to harness the truth so that we can be centered with integrity, compassion and be motivated to clear our thoughts in order to remember who we are innately. In addition, we need a healthy dose of self-love in order to accomplish it.
It is an evolution, one that is done with patience. We may find that we have instantaneous moments of revelation that burst forth in a radiance of clarity and those are precious moments to honor. Those a-ha moments are a springboard for evolution, but the work to remember who we are, to explore what we truly want from this life and to engage in seeking the depths of our innate self is usually like an archeological dig. One artifact at a time emerges to fit into the story of who we are, how we’ve arrived to the present situation and how we imagine the possibilities of the future.
One must find the observer mode in order to purify the thoughts that no longer serve you. I have found that writing is a way for me to see more clearly how my thoughts and beliefs and the events in my life have formed the present self. Free writing allows emotions, beliefs and our true feelings to emerge. Once you are able to express this, when you read it back, it is as if you are a listener (observer) and may find points where you question your thinking. You may see more clearly what you want to continue and what you don’t. You may notice what is here for you and find one of those precious a-ha moments that emphasizes joy in your life.
It is time to remember who you are and to harness your thoughts so that you may roll out the red carpet in 2020 and step into all that you are – without shame nor excuses, without sadness nor regret, without people pleasing nor taking it to the other extreme.
It’s about you being comfortable being the YOU that you are destined to be in all of your glory.
