We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think.

When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves. – Buddha

When it comes to Remevolution, the mind is a powerful tool to help you. The Evolution of Remembering Me (and you!) necessitates going deeply into our beliefs, our thoughts and seeing clearly. It helps when we can share our thoughts with others who are able to observe with empathy and even detachment to parse the truth from the story we’ve chosen to weave as our own.

Facts are what center on truth, but they can get muddled by our own views of life. We can make excuses for how or why situations occurred in our lives. We can find that it’s hard to face choices we’ve made so we eschew the facts to fit into what feels comfortable. Therefore we need to harness the truth so that we can be centered with integrity, compassion and be motivated to clear our thoughts in order to remember who we are innately. In addition, we need a healthy dose of self-love in order to accomplish it.

It is an evolution, one that is done with patience. We may find that we have instantaneous moments of revelation that burst forth in a radiance of clarity and those are precious moments to honor. Those a-ha moments are a springboard for evolution, but the work to remember who we are, to explore what we truly want from this life and to engage in seeking the depths of our innate self is usually like an archeological dig. One artifact at a time emerges to fit into the story of who we are, how we’ve arrived to the present situation and how we imagine the possibilities of the future.

One must find the observer mode in order to purify the thoughts that no longer serve you. I have found that writing is a way for me to see more clearly how my thoughts and beliefs and the events in my life have formed the present self. Free writing allows emotions, beliefs and our true feelings to emerge. Once you are able to express this, when you read it back, it is as if you are a listener (observer) and may find points where you question your thinking. You may see more clearly what you want to continue and what you don’t. You may notice what is here for you and find one of those precious a-ha moments that emphasizes joy in your life.

It is time to remember who you are and to harness your thoughts so that you may roll out the red carpet in 2020 and step into all that you are – without shame nor excuses, without sadness nor regret, without people pleasing nor taking it to the other extreme.

It’s about you being comfortable being the YOU that you are destined to be in all of your glory.
